Even prettier this morning on the eastern horizon. It looked washed and clear, surface etchings sharp after dawn. I like morning moons.

I haven't slept well, my body feels like it's burning and my muscles ache. It will be great to see people at Maelstrom (http://www.profounddecisions.co.uk/rules/rules.asp?NavID=9) , but the truth is, part of me is still thinking about work. I was offered 4 shows this week which I didn't take cos I'm back oop narth; that's a lot of money and much needed practice thrown away simply for being in the wrong place. One consolation is that my eyes look so tired, it's better if I do less shows now and 'feel' brighter later in the month; at least the audience won't get sick of my friendly fizzog babbling at them. Another more convincing thought is that I get to hang out with loads of excellent chums and act like a complete fool all weekend.

There's too much on my mind, and sleep just won't come. Gerald, my dear, you are in my thoughts.

Time for coffee.

Will do, bringing the lot! Bear in mind that traditionally this is a particularly strange time to do this work; eclipses are said to skew such insights. But let's see what we can do!
