In the past, when I have been honest with myself, the conclusions I reach have so often been based on a) or e), either 'Oh God, this guy is so dear, but he mings!' or 'Oh God, I really want this guy but I MUSTN'T!'

In my attempts to be fair all round I end up giving pitied minger too many cuddles, whilst tormenting desired object into confused tears of rejection.
