Probably to be adjusted later...
We met in the petrol desert
Beside him sat a gecko
They were watching the sun burning
bright scrap metal mountains
Caught sight of the long scar
I asked if it sometimes hurt
He told me there are some things
Even gods want to forget
Someone had pinned dollars to a cactus
He cut it, and squeezed out water.
The notes flew home to Vegas
And left us a clear horizon.
