Frankly I don't care what your doctor says, the mole has changed, become darker and more raised in a short space of time. Whilst I don't get the feeling it will become nasty in the next couple of weeks like Jan does but I do think it needs to be looked at.
I see no reason why they can't remove it now rather than waiting until it has become an obvious problem.
