Making Peace
I tend to dislike memey-quote type things but this resonates.

Yup, sometimes the villain, sometimes deservedly. But not always or entirely.There is such a thing as a factual rendering of events, perception creates a reality not the reality.
Two things time gave me: Perspective and Proportion.
It didn't make me Buddha, and it hasn't taught me to forget. But it's easy to lay aside villainy, real or imagined, when life is kind.
