It was a fascinating meeting, very glad I didn't miss it! I am so far from being the best historian-researcher around here that I really shouldn't be doing this particular project, and am suffering mightily from imposter syndrome. Still here we are and because this is work I'll not talk about it further until it's done.

I will not be doing one single iota of sensible anything today, however much is pending. I woke at 8.45, pretty unheard of for me. Yes, I'm tired. That ridiculous festival took it out of me.

Lovely dream though, nice house in which I wanted to live, somehow thanks to the efforts of my mother, it was my home. Orb Lord was hanging around, though not in the house thank god. I know why. When talking about the legends of the area yesterday including the Silver Man story, chap who knows all about the area mentioned that silver orbs had been spotted on the same road. He also talked about a theory that there's some kind of bigfoot in the area. Even with my most accepting hat on, I don't think there could be any such cryptid living here, because there aren't enough woodlands for it to hide in. Surely there would be more sightings. There are the old mines very nearby but still. I think it might be a kind of re-shaping of the Silver Man story assimilating a few other sightings where a large strange creature is labelled Quickfoot, The Ghost Ape of Marwood or Martyn's Ape. As to orbs, I am sick to bits of them. But the sighting seems to come from a credible source, so I will try to check it out ... some day that isn't today.
