Interlude back here

I have so much to write down before I forget.

But the here and now is very close by. I am supposed to be seeing my surgeon soon, delayed because one of our group got covid and now we are all waiting to see if symptoms develop. Truth is, I do have some symptoms, but so far I've tested negative. Still, I have had false results before, so the appointment is postponed.

And I don't want any of it. One would think that having had a nice diversion I would be ready, but I am not. My cousin sends me a FB message today asking what the Dr says. She is brilliant and sunshiny, very supportive and strong; but I cannot think of a single thing to say.
