Thunder in the air
Apr. 26th, 2005 08:02 amA night of thought and not much sleep. Arrived at a conclusion or two perhaps too private to record; I make things real for myself by writing them down, so there is a certain safety in the numinous. These things are of no actual use to me barring self-knowledge, which can only go so far. It has taken me years to understand that I do my best work in the throes of idiocy.
The air is oppressive this morning. I am quite looking forward to some rain.

Date: 2005-04-26 07:43 am (UTC)For me it depends on the demon; some thing fully formed but all pent up certainly loses its power once expressed. Something inchoate given shape either becomes the former or just sits among the sentences, staring at me in grim majesty.
To better sleep all round!
