smokingbootI have been beta-beamed by the positive powers of larians and bad_moon_rising, and now, unduly swayed by the sight of good looking men in tricorns and highwaycoats, am looking forward to Maelstrom, seeing excellent chums, and celebrating probablyscotty's birthday.
I have lost a lot of interest in Live Action Role Play, for various reasons, the main one being sheer bloody exhaustion. I don't have the emotional wherewithal to give it, because I am too damn busy. In game, I ended up with a newspaper; five years ago I would have jumped all over this. Now, I am doing a lot of writing in real life, and I just don't have the time or the spark to give it in play. I will try to sell the paper in game - if I'm not too busy wrestling with my wig/getting very drunk/hopping around like a fool.
I have a very odd idea for a story but no shape for it, and no time to write it. The sun is shining and all I want to do is sleep.
Today is very pretty. Hope you enjoy it.

Date: 2005-05-10 11:08 am (UTC)I have reached the point of demanding my effort's/money's worth; no rubbish reffing, no ego masturbation, value for cash venue, colour, consistency, catering and convenience! Note the two big 'C's' I leave out - camping and crap!
Less, differently, sounds about right. I'm making Maelstrom my fantasy fix for this year, and I'm seriously hoping to make it to 5th Season, cos it sounds fantastic! Odyssey is hard because none of my regular crowd is that interested, so I wouldn't have a group.
That's probably me sorted for the rest of 2005.
