Gerbil pups
Apr. 27th, 2004 12:53 pmNumber One Son is exploring the exterior of the nest, marching the run with bold if still blind pioneeering footsteps, attempting to turn his cute puppy shamble into a ratty scamper. Freakella appears to spend most of her time picking him up in her mouth and taking him back to the nest.
No sooner has she got him settled than his dark grey sibling wanders off. This one is smaller and isn't as co-ordinated, but its eyes opened this morning, an achievement it has celebrated by staring at me, staring at the waterbottle, and falling off several twigs.
This is stupidly sweet. I am not getting any work done at all!
