Bad things about this morning
1)It is a dreaded red spot day.
2) I am awake.
1) Explains why the last week has seen me swinging between elation and despair several times an hour.
2) Is the reason why the DIY hammer and the radio must be kept apart, not easy as one is in our bedroom and the other is in the upstairs corridor.
My love gets up early, so he sets the alarm a little earlier than he needs. I have never understood this reasoning, being the kind of simple bear who sets the alarm to go off when I want to get up, but OK, if that's what's needed, fine.
This morning it goes off, chattering away happily about the UK's resumption of relations with human rights offender Libya, in order to 'look after our interests,' the kind of wake up call that always gets me in a good mood. It stops. Ten minutes later, it starts again, this time, not stopping. He sleeps through it all. I, on the other hand, am on the point of screaming /attacking/ throwing the bastard radio through the window and forming my own freedom for sleepers party.
The good news is that I do have lots to do before work today, so time to start. First, we mellow. We chill. We make coffee.
We are out of caffeinated. RAAAAAAAAAAARRRRR!

What's a red spot day?
Re:
A red spot day is the start of my cycle, especially when, like yesterday, it behaves remarkably well and begins first thing in the morning. It may feel absolute crap, but saves a lot of inconvenience by not manifesting at the bus stop/mall/pool.
