smokingbootChristmas Eve, a maelstrom of panic buying, due to Argos failing to deliver at all yesterday despite their assurances and me staying in to wait for them. But it's all done now, and if there is anything I've forgotten, forgotten it must stay.
The log burner's on, flames crackling happily. Bro and friend will be round for dinner. There's a nice feeling around, and that's what I'm most aware of; a desire for amity and laughter, people trying hard to be pleasant. Reckon the year has worn everybody down. This feels like quite an old fashioned Christmas really. I am going to enjoy it.
