The Tree

It started to go wrong when I decided to use the wedding lights on the tree. See, they never turned up in time for the former, so it seemed like a waste; and there were so many of them! Except it took me hours to untangle the bloody things, and they are of course,legion. Chum came round in some distress,chat, wine,  food was late, and I found myself despairing in my attempts to hide the wires,which are translucent so could look vaguely cobweb-like, but never quite did. And then I just got excited and tired and so, in the end, this is what happened.



I have moved the purple mask round to the side and replaced it with a fox mask so that he has less of a heart of darkness, and is more affectionate /mischievous. But  basically, he is an arboreal Liberace.

I don't think that's exactly *wrong* but you might like to lock the lounge door at night to prevent it's appearance at 3am at the foot of your bed.
