The painter either didn't turn up or turned up half way through the day. He smiled, apologised, did some work, went home. If we had relied on him we would still be waiting now. Instead it was all hands to the pumps and with the help of a good friend everything got done. Thanks to Mr Hang-abouter the photos were done two days ago rather than 5. He actually asked us to recommend him on the website!

I have just been to vote in the EU elections. The madness never ends in this country, Brexit party ahead in all the polls with miracle money that's just turned up out of nowhere, the far right of the Tory party trying to ditch Theresa because they are terrified of the offer of a second referendum and the loss of voters. Most punters say it has worked, that she's out by friday. Normally I would be cheering, but considering that the next PM could be that charlatan Boris Johnson, it feels like watching a ship capsize.
