Such a mess.

Brutally? If self interest was the only criteria, we'd be fools not to vote Tory. Labour's plans would hit us hard in a number of ways but...

The sun ain't risen nor will rise on the day I vote for people who support tearing a live beast to bits for pleasure. And though throughout the years I have enjoyed BJ's buffoonery as much as anyone else, I stand by Jonathan Pie's summary of the man: https://www.facebook.com/JonathanPieReporter/videos/793459581101867/?v=2473499126265618

I think he's much more dangerous than Corbyn, who, I am convinced is harmless enough, but has shown no gift whatsoever for government. I know many of my Jewish friends fear his association with Hamas; I don't think he is an anti-semite, but I would not be at all surprised if he was against the bombing of Palestine. In this last, he shares the same opinion as those same Jewish friends. But still, they are afraid. He has been ineffective in dealing with anti-semitism within the Labour party. I see this as part of his tendency to be ineffective at most things.

I honestly do not believe a hung parliament would be worse than an overall majority for either of the big two. Fortunately, my constituency makes my vote a very easy decision.

We have a guest tonight and two more over the weekend. I wish I didn't feel quite so ill. Soon I have to go and apply some merciful paint - I just passed myself in a mirror and jumped at the paper white apparition staring at me.

Most election nights we might be watching the results roll in. Not this time.
