His head is full of the project's potential for a media unit, and he'd like me to put together a crib sheet on copyright.
I have fobbed him off for now, because unlike his fidgeting furloughed arse, I do have stuff to attend to. I don't need a cute little task to keep me engaged or some momentary pot-bubbling exercise. A crib sheet on copyright is of very limited use; where it's simple enough for a crib sheet it's too simple to cover most needs. For god's sake man, leave me alone.
He seems to need to stimulate movement for its own sake; and on some level, without being the leaderTM, he quite likes to direct. I don't respond well to that unless there is an evident requirement or goal. Asking me to create a crib sheet in case we need it is based on the assumption that I have lots of spare time/ energy to play with what-ifs, as if we are all twiddling our hands and grateful for a little bustle and busy beedom. I really don't feel any of those things.
