Well, this is not great. Yesterday whole underwater shimmery rubbish retinal migraine which suddenly cleared up only to leave me with my first classic migraine in a while. Q an early and painful night in bed, getting up at 4 with a normal headache, taken painkillers. Sitting here feeling nauseous.

What this meant was we put off an intended little thing until tonight, but tonight I am meant to be meeting the local group for a meeting in the woods to explore the surrounding area. It would be a great thing to do if I can get there and back without trouble, but now I am a) in a state of ouch and b) double booked.

Ugh, Stupid pain!

Meeting chums in Stevenage at the weekend was excellent. Talked about Long Covid with the Principal Scientist who told me there is a test that can give an accurate positive result, but not an accurate negative one, so you may still have LC whatever it confirms/denies. She thinks it covers a three month period after infection. In any case, the knowledge would only be useful if it indicated a remedy.

Orb Lord, having been blocked on Whatsapp tried to text me. I saw his name and the word 'manifesto' after it, and just deleted the whole thing. Enough.

And speaking of enough, our government has decided on a new tax to cover social care on the NHS, which would be more palatable if they hadn't suggested we fund the NHS out of the money we wouldn't be giving the EU, and then given billions of pounds of our money to their chums/ fanny merchants. As a fun addition, we now learn that the government has issued a new document detailing how water sewage companies can manage effluent discharge treatment when they cannot get the chemicals needed. 'Our new relationship with the EU' is cited as the first bullet point as to why this might happen. This is alongside the blood test tube shortage and stuff like this at our local Tescos;
