I get these updates annually but have just written back to tell them not to bother. It doesn't exactly upset me but I'm under various stresses right now and it never helps. There's no controlling what may be. If you live a normal life, chances are someone searching for you will find you eventually. I don't think he is doing that; I don't think I'm worth another prison sentence to him, and I'm far away enough to be a bad memory.

So off you go, Terence Henry Emmett. I learned a lot from our encounter and maybe you did too. Or maybe you didn't. That's not really my concern. My concern is that these guys are still putting down a carpet upstairs, the underlay seems to have taken eons, the hammerknocks are draining my will to live, I can't work, and until they finish, I can't prepare the catsitter's bedroom upstairs or pack for my early flight.

Also, I might have stress-eaten my way right off diet today.
