Executive decision from R: off to Skye! Possibly to see the aurora borealis (no luck) but more than anything for a brief movement, a change of scenery.
The real beauty was all on the journey there and back, with the many coloured trees and mountains all fading into silver right up to the doors of the car. That is the thing about Scotland; it evokes, it enchants. It's fairy country, elven country, orc tribe country, stone giant country, werewolf country, whatever-this-is country:

Um. Well at least it's smiling.
We had an all too brief but excellent time. Unfortunately I am now gripped with an appalling cold, temperature, cough, sore throat but negative Covid test, so that's something. My concentration is shot to hell.
