Sick Days
Well, R's come home, grey with food poisoning. Bunged to the gunnels with imodium to make travel between London and Edinburgh even possible, he got home at about 6, clammy and hot, and fell into bed shortly after.
R's parents are in Oz where R's dad has caught Covid. These two are vaccinated and boostered so fingers crossed this will be nothing worse than a mild inconvenience, but of course isolation scuppers their holiday plans.
Haven't heard from the bro, assuming he has happily crashed out in a ditch somewhere.
Mum's fine, enjoying a little sewing from what she tells me.
I have this stupid tendonitis thing, which doesn't get better whatever I do. I have decided to check out acupuncture options. This has been bad since Xmas and I am bored to bits with it.
The great thing about jonah weeks is that they use up huge supplies of the year's cruddy luck. I'm going to bed now and when I wake up, everyone will be radiantly well.
Huh. Clearly I'm dreaming already.
