Sometimes I get glimpses of places I've never been, like other people's memories or something, as though I'm floating in and out of worlds. It's often a very pleasant feeling, but a bit odd; a conversation in another room that really isn't happening, or isn't happening here or never happened at all. Except it is happening because I hear/d it.
But right now I am experiencing something else, a place I definitely was, a role playing event somewhere between 1996 and 2000. I can't recall the event but for a split second there, the room was as real as though I was still in it, banners of purple and black in a room that was more long than wide, and a dark evening outside. Purple and black? Trying to recall the group those colours belonged to, the Storm Crows maybe? The Fellowship of... Nope, can't remember, and even as the image slips away, I wonder if that place really existed or if it's some superimposition. I have been surrounded by a lot of purple and black today.
I thoroughly enjoy the stories and half stories my imagination casts at me, images that lead somewhere or nowhere. My brain does strange things, but they're a lot of fun.
