More time and therefore more work, or say, more potential work, has turned up. Two more months has been added to the deadline for this project. It gives our group time for discussions, perhaps with the police, perhaps with the local rangers, all very useful stuff.

But I cannot do a single thing more and know it. There will be hols, then there will be more serious medical stuff. They want me and R to read it over once they have finished, which is great, but there really is no point... Besides I don't want them to think I am possessive re the document. I have been, for want of a better description, head editor (sans format responsibility) but it's all very tenuous, and I am untethering now because it has to happen. This is handover.

Meanwhile, because I am keeping as far away as possible from thoughts of the remaining two rabies jabs today by enjoying the glorious news-not-news re the Royal Family, and Kate Middleton's fiddled family photo. In fairness I think that if you are going to doctor photos of the Windsors, you've got to go beyond removing their tails. Go wild, embrace the fantasy, give 'em all full heads of hair or something.
