Hello Terrorvision. It's been a long time.

Goodbye Friday night. We couldn't go out, we were just ruinously exhausted.
Hello Saturday night, and delishfish lasagne courtesy of

cyanidemigraine. The music at Jilly's was consistently bopaboutable-to, and apart from one drunk singing to me that he was a creep, he was a weirdo and he didn't belong here (all conclusions with which I vigorously concurred) the night was idiot free.

And the night flowed happily into late talk morning, and the next day turned into sleep/get over terrible hangover/sit around/watch dvds/eat fun size organic bananas day.

None of this can express my contentment. Much as I love words, some things can't be translated, so just for once I will have to trust my memory, and enjoy how good this feels.

P.S. Oh yes, note to self; red or purple hair suits me a lot better than blonde. I am trying to resist my mother's comforting advice to put ringlets in my hair before I get too old for them (her words, not mine). Thanks, mum!
