It's no good.

Hacking away at this thing, wincing at it and wondering if I took too many drugs when writing it or too few.*

I always tell people, 'Editing is easier.' Someone remind me to stick a cake in my ear the next time I say that. Yes, it's easier but it's really slow when total re-writing is part of it. And it is. Because I appear to have written the entire thing with my left foot.

You know, this may just be no damn good.

Maybe this is a sugar low. Maybe I'm down cos my boyfriend is in Switzerland. Maybe I'm just really tired. Or maybe it is true poo.

I need chocolate.

*Alas, only caffeine. Maybe that's the problem...

Thank you, I would love to come (honestly, despite your horror stories about the Great Walker) but I had really better get this thing sorted. It will be OK, I just have to get on with it!
