Time for colour

This morning is beautiful; a vibrant day, all greens and light blues, yellow light and long shadows, very Maxfield Parrish. I know many people who hate his sweet American Dream stuff, *shrug* got to sell what you can sell, it doesn't bother me, especially if it allows for exquisite pictures like 'Daybreak.' Daybreak was one of my favourite paintings when I was a kid, the nearest thing I could imagine to Heaven. I have seen so many different tinted reproductions, I have no clue as to the original colours.

Why do I think of this now? I have been up since 6, my mother has disappeared again, and though I have done a tiny minimal point of constructive work that pleases me, I don't feel so hot.

Time to leave the screen and go out.

It's a beautiful painting - slightly too symmetrical for me, but the use of light is fantastic.

If there's anything I can do to help you find your mum please let me know. I know a good tracing agency who work on a no trace no fee basis. Their website is http://www.investigation.co.uk/. I don't know if they'll be able to help, but it might be worth giving them a call.
