I rise I rise...

With curses and imprecations I rise, because Ralik has just jumped onto my lap and deposited a half mangled yet still living frog there. Usually he keeps them. Clearly this one's for me.

I dismiss this funk right now, before he starts bringing me the bodies of neighbours.

He is trying to teach you how to hunt for yourself. Thus he brings you a wounded, but not yet dead specimen to hone your technique on. Cats are thoughtful like that.....

*laughs* when he's not teaching me how to hunt he's yowling for me to use my opposable thumbs to bring him meat!

Froggy is now dead. I go to bury him. Ralik is purring around my legs meaningfully. I have the feeling that this froggy will rise from the earth almost as soon as he enters it.

I have left thanks for it, albeit inadequate; in the face of so many sparkling words, I have none left with which to answer. The feelings I cannot express are real though:-)
