That song by the Crash Test Dummies has always been one of my favourites, more for the melody than the words, except on this occasion. The dermovate is working, and what Dr Maim claims is psoriasis is gone. I have decided to accept the doctor's diagnosis because it gives me a great reason never to wear one of those itchyclumpyhorribleugly winter jumpers ever again in my whole life. They can all go to charity shops to torment other people. I may freeze but my skin will be at peace.

I can feel some sparkle returning. Gave up caffeine (trying to cut down on toxins you see) two weeks in and the headaches have stopped. Beginning to feel a lot better. I'm going to write soon, I think.

january looks more doable, though i am waiting on info. My dear one is away from 16th - 20th and 23rd -27th, so if you are around the grim north, you would be rescuing me from an evening of simpsons and christmas movies no-one cares about any more.

However, these are mid-week, so I gather this may not be feasible.

More info on free new year weekends as soon as I can (how can this be so difficult?)

I should be able to grab a few days leeway between the 23rd and 27th.

For some reason I am not surprised that the 23rd has come up as a day upon which the usual chaos of our lives may throw us together for a while.

I'll press some buttons at this end and see what can be made to happen.

And I like the look of some of them...big but tight fitting angoras that always remind me of that song 'Angel is the Centrefold' but most of my fluffy jumpers are just exercises in aggravation!
