Dec. 30th, 2005 03:51 pmTonight, dine well with beloved chums, and tomorrow? Fly with me to a far away land; friends will be there, and strangers too, to party perchance to hangover, and then comes a bright new year. It's easy, follow the babayaga's example;
1) Pick your favourite amphora, casserole pot or cooking pan. Make sure it is clean, and has no remnants of wicked relatives/badjujuartists/burst toads in it.
2) Jump in.
3)Grab nearby broomstick and sweep all broken crockery/falling masonry/bits of old rubbish out of your way. Watch out below, as this stuff inevitably concusses someone or breaks when it falls.
4) Punt the air vigorously until take-off achieved.
5)Pick party direction and go in it.
Remember your manners; No using your mobile phone above 5000 feet, no buzzing of Easyjet pilots, no spitting.
O yes, and something nabbed with thanks from
thomryng.
I'm flattered. I'm not greatly familiar with Kabir but thanks to
secretrapture I know his poetry absolutely rocks.
Have a bright and sparkling New Year. Here's to 2006!

| Kabir You two would probably really get along! |
Not a religion founder in any true sense, instead felt that everyone should follow their own path to God. "There is nothing but water in the holy pools. I know, I have been swimming there. All the gods sculpted of wood or ivory can’t say a word. I know, I have been crying out to them. The Sacred Books of the East are nothing but words. I looked through their covers one day sideways. What I talk about is only what I have lived through. If you have not lived through something, it is not true." |
