Techno-gotherama and ordinary stuff

Went to see Underworld late last night, and all it showed me was that White Wolf Vampire is better on table top than on celulloid. Or maybe it's the calibre of our roleplaying group and ref, rather than the originating concept, that makes the game work so well for me, week after week.

As to WW's claim against whoever made the film, well, I can see their point. Looks like a pretty close steal to me.

There is good news, though I'm too knackered to jump around about it. Money has turned up from my publishers just in time to put a healthy dent in my overdraft. Plus, my accountant is primed and ready to throw forms in triplicate at the Inland Revenue, in a valiant attempt to claw back the odd groat.So it's all looking like healthy practical stuff. *Yawn*

Today, we go to Viking Charmer's birthday bash in Nottingham. I've had no luck with these do's. Last year I turned up exhausted cos I had spent the night before at Scarlett's, tonight I'm turning up exhausted from the holiday. I know I'll enjoy it once I'm there, and it'll be good to see people. This year, due to a lack of beautiful but crippling fetish boots, I may even dance. I think I need breakfast. Or another holiday.
