The weekend.
Mar. 28th, 2005 02:57 pmSo, that was fine; fondue, very nice wine, excellent chums, great conversation, celebration of my dear love
larians birthday, genial rugby disaster, great football, pie, beer, chips, more chums, champagne, strawberries, Doctor Who, club, more chums, sunday lunch on the side of a hill, mist and moors, more chums, tabletop roleplay. Broken now, with just one or two NBs for future reference;
1) It's still dear old Doctor Who, but I could quite fancy this incarnation; tall, cadaverious, intelligent eyes, clearly mad. OK.
2) England vs N. Ireland. It's one thing to win, another to play well. They did both. It was good to watch.
3) We have truly marvellous friends, big-hearted, courteous, astonishing company.
4)I like the way I look in rubber tops.
5)You know you say how friends who become parents claim they won't change? Try roleplaying with them! As ever, fantastically hospitable and great to be around, but in the kitchen clatter clatter, on the phone natter natter. By contrast, baby totally cool and funky, barely a distraction, no problem at all.
Odd stuff going through my brain today. Too much to think about
