Where The Wild Things Are

I loved this story when I was small. The monsters were proper, and there was a real far away land over the sea. I wanted to be like Max, but I would never have come home, warm dinner or not. May the Wild Rumpus last forever!

This reminds me of thomryng's mention of people creating their own mappa mundi to be posted on lj. I would love to do this, though it would show more of the strange places in my head than the real world, whatever that is. No scanner though and an awful lot of other stuff I should be doing, so I will just have to dream instead.
