Senior citizens of my fishtank, Rapido and Rory:
Rory, I knew you were getting old, from the way you lumbered up to the surface for food and then kinda mooched around. I will never forget you flaring up at your reflection, fighting invisible foes and hiding from girlyfish, despite creating a fantastic bubblenest. Let's face it, you were never a romancer. If you were a human, you'd have lived in Fight Club.
Rapido, you were old but by god, you never stopped being a slapper. You had sex the night before you died, and then just keeled over. I will miss your dancer-like movements, your alien appearance, but I will not miss your extraordinary prowess as a mollusc matriarch. My tank is full of your children. It may take you a while to find the happy hunting grounds, but I can guess the first thing you'll do when you get there.
