These men who scraped the skies with standing stones
made zeros blossom, worked in fives and ones,
counting millenniums upon their hands,
eclipses marked in memories, on bones
not breaking with the ages, not to fade
comet-like, between the stars and suns,
these minds who numbered in thousands and thousands,
were children first in zeros, fives and ones.
