Wane of the Moon
Sep. 10th, 2014 11:23 pmI do like the waning moon. Tonight it's out there looking like someone getting their head faintly gnawed on and considering it an OK way to spend an evening. It's got a gold peachy tinge at the centre, and a very faint red gleam along the topmost edge.

happybat's journal reminded me a little bit of the past, when LJ was just that bit more buzzy and busy. That train of thought widened somewhat into a general consideration of the last 10 years. There are people I may never see again and I miss them, there are others whose absence from my life I can bear with remarkable and, I trust, lifelong ease. But it surprises me just who belongs in which category.
And none of it is sad, not for those I miss, not for those I don't, not for me.
