Rough as a badger's arse

There is stuff that needs to be done before Venice; the house is a mess, holiday clothes need to be washed, I have boots but no shoes, larians birthday is tomorrow, and I have neither card nor present. The present can wait til Italy, but I want him to have a card. All of this means getting up and doing stuff, and I am still not able to do it.

I told myself I would be well today. Clearly my body wasn't listening at all.
