Election Day
May. 7th, 2015 09:03 amWell, this one's going to be interesting. Could have huge ramifications. Could be a big fuss about nothing. Despite the rise of the crazy right, I think the Conservatives inevitably close ranks on these occasions and they'll vote old school. There may be more of a showing from the swivel eyed loons but methinks they've given their warning, and they'll follow the money.
As ever the Left does not unite so easily. The Sun, blatant in its cynicism and Conservative to the core, is backing the SNP in Scotland and the Tories in England. They want the Left to pick itself apart. There is much talk of a coalition or hung parliament. My suspicion is that the Conservatives will get in by a small number of seats, and I hope if that is the case, that all the parties on the Left unite against them to form a cohesive and powerful opposition.
Election parties tonight; Looking forward to hanging out with the ex-neighbours watching as the emerging picture.
