Shameful evil man!
If Corbyn is a terrorist sympathiser for not wanting to bomb hapless civilians, what shall we call the man whose government supported Daesh in its early days? In that lies the initial answer to our problem: had we not helped them they would not have grown so strong, and if we could for once bring ourselves to STOP THE MONEY we would deal with them far more definitely than any bombs will. Stop the illegal trade in oil. Freeze assets, lean fucking hard on Turkey and Saudi Arabia and all the other ghastly despots whose evil we ignore because of money, money, always grasping for money. If bombs and boots on the ground are necessary, then let us consider long and hard, with cool minds, what our win condition is and how we maintain it. But this should be our last resort not our first, and this is not about cowardice or sympathy with terrorists, it is about human misery and not exacerbating it.
Where then has austerity gone? How sudden a disappearance is this! How can we afford a war when we couldn't afford to look after our own poor, when the NHS is so very costly, when everything that isn't a tax break is a burden on the beleaguered to-be-pitied rich?
And it is a fucking war, what they are talking about will affect civilians, cities, lives beyond those of lunatics waving guns at us. How can we on the one hand tout war, and on the other complain about refugees needing help? There will be many more, what do we expect them to do? Voluntarily drown themselves so we don't have to feel bad about them?
This is disgusting.
It is appropriate that Cameron wore a photoshopped poppy; the lessons of the wars mean nothing to him, and if we agree with his motives and methods we should all be wearing one.
