End of year meme
Dec. 30th, 2015 10:43 amNah, can't recall most of it and refuse to copy and paste 40 odd questions up here. It's no longer a useful yardstick for me. So to summarise:
2015:
Two births to close friends (apologies if I have forgotten any)
Two friends suffering from life-threatening illness
Two deaths and two dates never to be forgotten: June 30th and October 2nd
Home front: Repairs to bathroom, lovely new log burning stove, back garden finally useable and pretty. Happy changes.
Love life: Precious and cherished.
New things done mainly come under work, not to be talked about yet.
Old things done are mainly travel to the hometown and Venice. Interesting.
Successes: Finishing things, doing my rubbishy little pilgrimage to St Antony's basilica.
Failures: Didn't get to Israel! Saw pics of Jerusalem on a friend's FB first thing, have decided to treat it as an omen, though between Oz, the wedding and Africa, it's unlikely to happen for a while...
Resolutions: More work, more exercise, and also more spiritual discipline. In fact, discipline without dullness should be my motto.
The year's themes: Growth and Redux were major. There are roses in our garden, and life is good... but for me the year belonged to this gentleman, and he can have his cheese: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PghNEN-29CQ
