Sharks!

Slightly worried that I won't be able to pop my ears properly, due to this cold, which could make the dive difficult. But hopefully the sniffle will be long gone by then. I just need to suck my body weight in boiled sweets.

Warning is that strong currents can sweep divers away at Magic Point. I'm a reasonable swimmer, no Tom Daley but OK. Trying to remember what you do about currents... swim across them? Something like that...

Anyway, if I die, I'll die happy. But I won't die. I'm more likely to be told I can't actually do it because of not being able to equalise my inner ear pressure. If the worse case scenario finds me sulking on a trail in the Blue Mountains somewhere, I can't complain...

This has nothing to do with sharks and currents. I choose morbidity over packing any day...
