The Wicked Queen's Month

This is a very beautiful November. The garden is quivering in the rain and wind, and the light is pure bright gold. Snow White's apple is still clinging to the tree. I left it there as a gift for the fairies because I decided it was too beautiful to eat. If I picked it, it would become just another apple among so many the tree has given us, worse I might even see flaws or insect nibbles or whatever. From here it shines a truly gleaming scarlet, and if seelie or unseelie come riding by and fancy it, that's no loss to me.

A lot happened yesterday, very interesting stuff. But I am too tired to talk about it, caught between work and this need to sleep.
