But being so ill is very frustrating.

An old chum (not the one who made the video) is in Scotland and we are trying to arrange something for next week, but she's up here to look after her aged and infirm father...She reckons this is his last year, in which case, the last thing I want to do is to bring respiratory complications to our meeting. This isn't pneumonia by a long chalk but it's pretty vicious complete with diarrhoea. I never understand why the two go together so often. For her daddy's sake, we may have to call next week off.

And then there's the total lack of working capacity. I can't do anything at all. It's ridiculous.It's boring.

The good news is that I am treating this as my innoculation against the coming Winter; I say 'coming' because ironically the weather is very mild right now. If this is the worst we face, it's going to be a soft enough time.

Moonrise

Right through the window of my front room. So I guess we must be facing due East.

Beautiful too, clear as a pearl, except for some fuzziness around the Sea of Clouds. I like to think of it as the Moon Man's attempt at sideburns.
