All her colleagues at the hospital have got Covid 19. Her husband, my Spanish cousin, again working in a UK hospital, has just had one of his colleagues die of it. Testing, what testing? PPE where?
All this for people who six months ago wanted the foreigners to go home.
I have no idea how to cheer her up.
The Sunday Times report has rattled some cages for sure, but he won't leave. He and his entire cabinet are shameless. Nothing will happen. In the meantime, every available diversion has been thrust in front of us; Clap for Boris! Pray for Boris! Dance for Boris!
Vote for clowns, get a circus.
Across the pond we see P45's posturing.
To my mind he's a dangerous, possibly unhinged individual who seems to care nothing for the people he is meant to serve and protect.
I've heard a lot of criticisms of Americans based on protests about lockdown and they all get lumped together into a sort of anti-vaxxer MAGA flag-waving gun-toting Trump-loving stereotype, but if this guy is right ( Severe ranty cuss warning https://www.facebook.com/watchparty/228517778229021/?entry_source=USER_TIMELINE) then exactly what are people expected to do? Embrace homelessness?
