Blue sky, blue snow

The light was glorious yesterday, harsher and clearer than the day before, more like what you expect from a Winter's day. The sunshine rewarded me with a parade of polka dot lens flares, but the snow here was just as we saw it, twinkle and all.





Everything was about the play of light.







Today is nowhere near as benign, the sky is overcast in pink/ lavender, which sounds adorable and looks like a big bruise. Temperature's dropping too.

Time to put the fire on.
