So yesterday it was looking better. The weekend saw him stable though still critical. His kidneys needed filtration support but not every day. His respiratory system was OK on low oxygen treatment tolerating to the supine position.

And it's all very Andrew, this slow movement towards change, something better, I hope, but everything is inch by inch...

Today we learn he's developed MRSA on his sputum and skin and pseudomonas on his blood. Pneumonia's a threat as is blood infection. So, back on high oxygen requirement and haemofiltration.

And yet, his vital signs remain stable. I just keep imagining him floating, moving forward, stepping away from all that.

Night of the 13th I dreamed I saw a beautiful but big young raven in a hedge. It wasn't a monster thing like the one I dreamed of in 2019, though that too was young. This one flew away. Fly away young raven, fly away from my friend's door. X
