Not Covid

What I have here is a godawful cold. I'm up so that my coughing doesn't wake R, but the moment he's awake I am going back to bed.

Can't think, or speak, can barely read. Supposed to be at a game tonight, a meeting tomorrow and Edinburgh early (!) Monday morning.


Eeugh.

Everything cancelled

Couldn't stay up, went back to bed and slept til noon. Drank my bodyweight in soup. Dizzy and hopeless, nauseous, weirdly ready for the loo all the time, I am seeeeeeek!

If I go back to sleep now, I risk waking up in the middle of the night. But what's the point of being awake? I can't do anything and my head hurts!

It might be time at last to watch The Lighthouse. It's got William Dafoe being mad and Robert Pattinson in full glower, plus it's in black and white, which indicates ominous artiness/ questionable pace ...A raddled husk on Friday afternoon can do no better.
