Actually worse
Jun. 8th, 2023 06:23 amR coughing constantly, my own difficulties breathing, cat screaming for breakfast... I got up before dawn and still feel thoroughly zombified.
Temperature too, but that's calmed down. Minor headache.
I'm going to indulge myself for a moment's moan. Covid in February, now this. I know it's just a head cold exacerbated by lack of sleep, but it's just not OK to go through some respitory issue every three months or so. Inevitably (and I guess I should take heart at this) it's not something that KOs my essential functioning, though it is terrible for work. But it keeps one permanently in a state of recovery or exhaustion. In terms of supplements I take cod liver oil capsules, multi-vitamins, extra vitamin D, turmeric, royal jelly, chlorella and spirulina powder. It's surprising I don't rattle when I walk.
Much to be done. Going to give myself til 7.30 and then stuff has to happen. Oh my goodness, I really must wake up.
Addendum: Well no. Turned out I lumbered to the kitchen and did a nice amount there. Odd incident though. Gathered up spare bottles and jars to put outside in our little glass bank, suddenly heard a whistle really close by. Stopped. Waited, looking, couldn't see a damn thing. Didn't move. 'Good morning' said a young male Scottish voice. I still couldn't see the origin of it, but I could just make out our next door neighbour's side door ajar. So I just laughed and said, 'Good morning!' and carried on, though in my potterings around the bins I made sure an intruder hadn't scaled our walls. But it has just occurred to me that I heard an argument over that way last Saturday, a dad telling one of his children to stop spying on the neighbours. The row was happening while I collapsed in the garden. There's nothing to it, but it has registered, I will be more aware. And at least I'm awake now.
