A dream

Some kind of party going on, we were helping organise it. I had a golden key that might be of some use, and inexplicably I was wearing golden shorts.

Later, I wandered out to see that we had a swimming pool, all our neighbours had swimming pools too, and people were out and about or sitting in the sun relaxing. Suddenly I felt the impulse to take all my clothes off and run and jump right into that pool. I did exactly that, and just lay there floating on my back in the sunshine. There came a point when I was meant to be at a train station, and I realised that I was still naked. I popped my head out to see Jerry Adams (?!)smiling at me and telling me to come on/hurry up, so I found a bedsheet and wrapscrunched it up all around myself in a ballgown-meet-sleeping-bag arrangement.

Puss cat is recovering; what's happened here seems to have its root in previously undiagnosed arthritis. He's such a sprightly chap we had no idea. But if it hurts to crouch he'll try not to crouch, with all attendant issues. So the routine goes; his normal thyroid medicine, then rheumatic medicine then laxatives followed by lots of high calorific and distinctly wet food, then laxatives again in the evening, then finally more thyroid medicine.

Needless to say he is milking this for all it's worth. Tuna, creamed rice, Lickelix,Dentalife snacks, posh cat food, gravy, his favourite biscuits, plus added kisses and cuddles...I just left him asleep on his heated mat on the sofa. His purrs are deep and loud enough to travel the room.

I think he's all right.
