What is it that makes a lyric or a poem suddenly touch us? Is it because it suddenly illuminates a hidden part of us? Or does it just shine a torch on something new born in our heads/hearts?
I do not understand a single aspect of it. And yet, it enthralls so completely that even analysis can't destroy its magic!
