I thought you were near the wild and wuthering beaches of Sussex?
Scenery makes up for a lot, especially if one wants to create. We are near some lovely stuff, peaks an hour away, lakes two hours away, moors 10 minutes drive...and out there in the wilds the sunsets are beautiful and the winds roar through one's head. But in the end everyone goes home to a little brown house among little brown houses, and watches the telly or plays WoW.
Guess the same happens in London, only there are more options to play with.
