I want

to live on a boat called Miranda, moored somewhere near Canary Wharf, but often in other places too. There's a crocodile involved, and several of hybridartifacts illustrations illuminate the interior. If I close my eyes I can see it. But I don't close my eyes cos every time I do, one of my cats yells at me or the phone rings. No sleep last night and precious little now.

Travelling to London tonight for about 12 days, so if I don't get back to peeps' emails now, I promise to reply asap.

Oh God, for some sleep!

Sometimes he ticks, in memory of a certain bad but dashing pyrate he ate.

Often he just punts the boat out beyond the estuary. If I harnessed him to the prow he could tow us along with ease, cos he's huge...

but I'll never suggest it, cos he'll look at me funny.

I have my heart set on seeing an exhibition of your work - you recall that wonderful one of the chameleon and the victorian explorers in a bottle? Please never put it for sale without telling me, I love it so!
There isn't enough crocodile art out there: I look forward to seeing yours:-)

Well, if you are likely to be in London anytime between the 9th and 12th next month I will be exhibiting at the Inspired Art Fair (in the church just off from Spittalfield market near Liverpool Street station- www.inspiredartfair.com for more details).
You may be pleased to hear that I am not selling the explorers in a bottle there ;)
As to crocodiles, I sometimes like to put odd out of place creatures in my artwork, so a crocodile should work just fine (my latest have a mini rhino and giant frog after all).
